The Monticello and greater Green Bay communities are mourning the tragic loss of Elise M. (Feldhausen) Constantini, who passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Verona, Wisconsin. She was 48 years old.
Elise was born on January 19, 1978, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the beloved daughter of Richard and Jayne (Aranda) Feldhausen. From an early age, she was known for her warmth, resilience, and strong sense of responsibility—qualities that would define her life as a mother, professional, and friend.
She graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School, where she formed many lasting friendships and developed the grounded character that those closest to her admired throughout her life. In 2015, Elise made Monticello her home, where she lived with her three children—Tyler, Kalyn, and Trenton—who were the center of her world. Her devotion to her children was unwavering, and she worked tirelessly to provide them with love, stability, and opportunity.
Professionally, Elise built a career in the banking industry, where she was respected for her diligence, integrity, and genuine care for the people she served. Colleagues and clients alike remember her as someone who took pride in her work and treated everyone with kindness and patience.
Tragically, just before 3:00 p.m. on Monday, officers from the Verona Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash at American Way and Batker Court in Verona. According to authorities, Elise’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a light pole. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity and reported that an autopsy was performed on Tuesday. The Verona Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Elise’s sudden passing has left a profound void in the lives of her family, friends, coworkers, and community. She will be remembered not only as a devoted mother, but also as a compassionate individual whose presence brought comfort and strength to those around her. Her laughter, her work ethic, and her quiet determination will not be forgotten.
A gathering to honor and remember Elise’s life will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Zwingli United Church of Christ, located at 416 E. Lake Avenue in Monticello, Wisconsin. A time of remembrance will conclude the gathering at 6:00 p.m., offering family and friends the opportunity to reflect, share memories, and celebrate the life of a woman who meant so much to so many.
As the community continues to grieve, Elise Constantini’s legacy lives on through her children and all those whose lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and love.
